More About Search Engine Optimisation
We understand how important search engine optimisation is but also get that it is a very complex and an ever-changing landscape, complete with its own language. So we do the hard work for you. We know a lot about Google, how it reads websites, what it looks for to verify, validate and rank websites and how to tailor websites to appeal to Google so you appear in the search results for your chosen keywords and phrases.
There are many elements to a successful SEO campaign including activities such as keyword research, buyer intent research and important ‘on-site’ tasks that work together to ensure that your website is as optimised as possible for when Google comes to visit.
Our mission is to achieve higher rankings for your website which leads to increased organic traffic. That in turn generates more conversions for your business and that’s what we call a great result.
In a nutshell, we research keywords and phrases to build an agreed list of relevant search terms on which to base your search engine optimisation campaign strategy, we then identify ways to optimise your website to target those agreed search terms.
We tweak your website to optimise elements such as meta data, page titles, page text, alt tags and other SEO signals; as well as analysis and recommendations on optimal website structure, navigation and calls to action for best SEO results.
We identify opportunities for “back links” from other related websites and directories in order to generate website authority and extra traffic.
Your site will be regularly audited by us to identify content optimisation opportunities and ensure any technical errors are addressed.

Our Magnificent SEO Team
Not all superheroes wear capes, but we try to on a Friday. Only joking, we wear capes all week!
We work best when we get to know you and understand your online goals.
Using your existing analytics platform we determine what traffic you receive to your site currently. We look at where your website visitors come from, not just geographically, but also from which channels. We find out the average amount of time spent on your site by a visitor and how many pages a visitor sees on average. Using all these stats (and a few others) as benchmarks we can monitor the effectiveness of your SEO campaign.
Once we’re in the know, we conduct detailed keyword research to determine exactly what people look for in the search engines when they are looking to buy your products and services. We then develop a full-scale search engine optimisation strategy based on the results of our keyword research to identify areas where your website can be optimised to match your content to those search terms. We also keep an eye on what your competitors are up to so we can stay one step ahead.
Another important task is to monitor your Google rankings and keep and eye on how well your website is getting noticed on the Internet. All of this is only scratching the surface of what we get up to but hopefully it gives you an idea!
Our Stunning SEO Stats!
We are going to share some targets with you now that may not make a whole lot of sense. Please trust us when we say that you are in safe hands with us. We’ve got you. So here’s the targets. You might even understand more than we are giving you credit for!
These four targets are what we aim for when running an SEO campaign for you. If you can see the numbers moving towards the targets each month, then it doesn’t matter so much if you don’t understand the nitty gritty.
The targets are: decrease the website bounce rate aiming for 49%; increase the average time spent on your site to over 2 minutes; increase the average number of pages viewed per visit to more than 3 pages and increase the number of organic sessions by a minimum of 10% year on year.
SEO Translator
It is pretty clear there are many jargon words around SEO, as we speak it fluently, it is our job to translate for you. Here’s what some of these phrases mean.
What is Link Building?
This is arguably the most important part of any SEO campaign.
Our detailed link building strategy considers the best links that your competitors have and aims to build your links to rival them.
The best links that go to your site are from other websites that compliment your own; for example, industry ‘go-to’ websites and credible magazine or publication websites. We identify the people that would need to be approached at each website property and suggest a method on how might be best to target each site. Some of them may be straightforward and simply require an email or telephone call approach, where others may require a more strategic angle, maybe via social media channels such as LinkedIn.
Basically, the harder you have to work to get the link the more valuable that link is to your website.
What does it mean to do a Link Detox?
No this isn’t a new diet for your website, but it is vital for the health of your Google ranking.
With the advent of Google Penguin (an algorithm that will penalise websites who have low quality back link profiles), it is more important than ever to manage your own back link profile.
A detox of your website’s back link profile reviews every single link back to your site for its quality and to attempt to remove any that could be dangerous and have a negative effect on your overall back link profile.
We use our software systems to investigate your back links and go through them one by one to sort the strong links from the weak and low quality ones.
Then we work to remove as many of the low quality links as we can and finally produce a Disavow file to submit to Google for those that cannot be removed.
What is a Technical on-site audit?
Google uses over 200 different factors to rank your website pages and a number of those are in the technical set up. To ensure we have the best possible chances of top rankings for your content, we audit your whole website and report back to you our findings. This gives you the key information to resolve the issues that will be having a negative effect on your ability to rank in the organic search results, and in turn be having an effect on your traffic.
If that was too technical for you, you’re lucky we didn’t start talking about page access issues, broken images and broken anchors. Oops, seems we can’t help ourselves, sorry guys we’re nerds at heart.
